You’ve Made a Difference
Thanks to the support of our amazing community, we raised over $2.9 million in our last fiscal year, which ended on March 31. Gifts ranged from $2 to $600,000, and there were more than 5,300 of them.
We’re proud to report that our cost per dollar raised was less than 16 cents.

Celebrating Nursing
National Nursing Week was celebrated in May. At GGH, we have more than 500 nurses who provide exceptional care to our patients. At the Nurses Week dinner, Critical Care Unit nurse Connie Taylor was announced as the deserving recipient of the Allan Finnie Bursary for Excellence in Nursing, named after a beloved physician who passed away much too early, eight years ago. The bursary is funded by Dr. Finnie’s colleagues in the Department of Internal Medicine.
