There's A LOT of health information on the Internet. A 2009 Canadian Internet Use Survey (sponsored by Industry Canada) found 70% of home users searched for health information online.1 What the survey doesn't say is whether they found "good" information.

Minister of Health and Long Term Care at GGH
Recently, Ontario recognized our Hospital for improving patient care in its Emergency Department (ED), with a cheque for $89,900. The funds were provided through a provincial Pay-for-Results program, designed to ensure more patients are admitted or discharged within the provincial target times and helping hospitals reduce the total time patients spend in the ED.
