From the ED

The office is a hive of activity right now as all the details for our March 6 Black Tie Bingo come together – you can read more below.

Events are important for us as they raise funds, friends and profile. But it might surprise you to learn that events raise just 10-15% of our annual income. We have a number of other programs to raise funds including mailings, e-giving, tribute giving, planned giving (like bequests), major and campaign gifts. Read about a unique way Kelly Fitzgerald used recently to raise funds for hospitalized children.

Like Kelly, you can always choose a specific area of the Hospital you would like to support, be it a department like Emergency or a program like Women and Children, or Cancer.

If you have any story ideas for our e-newsletter, please let us know!

Regards,
